Great news Jen Kirkman fans! Rooftop Comedy announced today that they are releasing an album version of Jen Kirkman’s “I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)! Rooftop Comedy’s early release is available exclusively on Audible Channels today, July 8, 2016

The thing about Jen Kirkman is that yes, she’s hilarious and smart, but she’s also surprisingly comforting. When you watch her do stand up, in addition to laughing, you also find yourself thinking “Heh, yeah that’s absolutely the right attitude to have about that.” She’s the furthest thing from a preachy self-help book, but afterwards you somehow end up applying a lot of her opinions to your life, because it makes things easier and funnier. You almost wish you could play it in the car in traffic and use some of her jokes as soothing mantras. And now, Kirkman fans’ wishes have been granted.

Folks less familiar with the comedian’s stand up work may know her as a long time writer and round table guest on Chelsea Lately and she’s also well known for her role as the narrator in many episodes of the Emmy nominated Comedy Central series Drunk History. They’ve also seen Jen on her regular appearances on Comedy Central’s @midnight and CONAN. She’s done stand up on many late night shows: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.

Jen has also released two other stand up albums, Hail to the Freaks (released March 2011) which hit #13 on the Billboard Charts. Her debut album was 2006’s, coincidentally and appropriately titled Self Help.

Whether you’re a longtime fan, or just discovering Jen Kirkman, get ahold of this album. If you’re not an Audible member, no problem! Wide release of “I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)! will be available on all digital platforms, August 5th, 2016.
