‘Impractical Jokers’ Teaming Up with Wounded Warrior Project for ‘G.I. Jokers’ Finale

If there’s one thing that the team at truTV’s Impractical Jokers knows how to do, it’s put together a killer season finale. In 2015, the boys walked a tightrope five stories above the streets of New York City, and last year, they tackled a series of obstacle courses and high-flying stunts courtesy of Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus. Now, the Jokers are preparing for another flashy finale, and as usual, this one’s for a good cause.

On November 2nd, Sal, Joe, Murr and Q will close out their sixth season with a two-hour special event titled Impractical Jokers Presents G.I. Jokers, filmed at Long Island’s Museum of American Armor. Why G.I. Jokers? Because the entire event will be filmed in front of an audience of military servicemen and women — veterans and active duty — and their families. As is typical of Impractical Jokers events like these, charity is a focal point. This year’s finale is focused on the Wounded Warrior Project, and the special will be interspersed with clips of the Jokers visiting with and providing some laughs for wounded men and women from the Armed Forces. TruTV is promising to make a donation to the WWP during the special, though it’s unclear if the Jokers will be making individual donations as they have in previous years.

The whole thing kicks off at 9 p.m. ET with a pre-show, hosted by *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, which will highlight some of the best and worst clips from season six. At 9:30 p.m., the one-hour finale will begin, featuring a host of military-themed stunts and not one but two “high-octane” punishments that are sure to give the previous year’s finales a run for their money. At 10:30 p.m., Sal, Joe, Q and Murr will wrap things up with the Impractical Jokers After Party, where the whole gang will take a look back at this latest season and discuss the events of that night’s finale.

As with their previous specials, this event is not to be missed! So, be sure to keep November 2nd open on your calendars!

Impractical Jokers airs every Thursday at 10/9c on truTV.
