‘Impractical Jokers’ Hosting Insane ‘Nitro Circus’ Finale

Last summer, truTV’s Impractical Jokers crew celebrated their season four finale and 100th episode in a big way: By walking a tight rope, one by one, that was strung up five stories high over New York’s South Street Seaport. The live “punishment,” something that at least one of the Jokers has to experience at the end of each episode, was hilarious(ly terrifying) to watch, and best of all, it was for a good cause. Each of the four cast members (Sal, Joe, Murr and Q) earned $10k for their charity of choice just by partaking, with Q becoming the hero of the night when he successfully crossed the whole distance and earned $50k for his charity, the Stephen Siller Foundation.

This year, the boys are attempting to outdo themselves. Sal, Q, Murr and Joe are teaming up with Nitro Circus, the “action sports collective” helmed by X-Games legend Travis Pastrana. The two groups are getting together for the Impractical Jokers Live: Nitro Circus Spectacular, a season finale to top all season finales. Pastrana will host the two-hour special, held at New Jersey’s Prudential Center, that will have the boys performing not one, but two live punishment events as well as a four-part obstacle course that is sure to be dangerous, over-the-top and way too daunting for the four comedians. As with last year’s live event, the boys are punishing themselves for a good cause, as each challenge will allow one of the Jokers to earn some big bucks for his charity of choice.

Tickets for the Impractical Jokers Live: Nitro Circus Spectacular, which is happening for one night only on November 3rd, don’t become available to the general public until Tuesday, September 27th at 10 a.m…
