Hulu Announces New Show Based on Twitter Account ‘Los Feliz Daycare’

Expanding on their stable of originals, Hulu has announced today that they are partnering with Happy Endings’ Adam Pally (along with his Clone Wolf Productions) and comedy writer Jason Shapiro for a new show based on the popular parody Twitter account @LosFelizDaycare. The show, like the Twitter account, will document the day-to-day happenings of an obnoxiously progressive, health-conscious daycare for rich kids where children are encouraged to meditate, start their own podcasts and substitute Fidget Spinners with copies of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest.

The show’s script will be written by Shapiro and American Dad’s Erik Richter, who will also act as showrunner. Pally and Richter will executive produce alongside Josh Lieberman and Greg Walter. Pally has been getting more production work as of late, having had a hand in the recently-canceled Making History on Fox, as well as Comedy Central’s current hit talk show The President Show.

There’s no news yet on when the show is expected to debut. So check back in with The IBang for more details as they come.
