George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon Welcome Conan Back to NYC

oh-hello

New York celebrities were out in force for Conan O’Brien’s final show of the week from the Apollo Theater in Harlem. That included NYC’s latest Broadway darlings and stars of the hit show, “Oh Hello”, George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon. George, Gil and Conan are old friends. Conan has even appeared as the special guest in “Oh Hello”. They were kind enough to bring Connen (their alternative pronunciation of “Conan”), a Welcome Back to New York gift basket. The guys even did a “Reverse Diff’rent Strokes” to bring it, meaning they traveled to Harlem from Manhattan.

The gift basket was a “cornucopia of mementos” for the TBS late night host. Watch the clip below to see the gift basket presentation. That is unless you’re Kevin Hart. Then don’t watch because you’re not going to be too happy with what they said about the basket. It was filled with plenty of gifts found only in New York City, including items for bad weather as well as snacks and a photo you’ll find in every NYC pizzeria. They were even able to work in a Donald Fagen reference. Plus, you’ll be glad to know that after becoming the hottest ticket in town, Gil and George are now in the ticket broker business themselves.

You can see Nick Kroll and John Mulaney as George Faizon and George St. Geegland on Broadway in “Oh Hello” at the Lyceum Theatre in New York, running now through January 8th.
