Fuse to Feature Strong List of Rising Stand Up Talents

Fuse is about to start featuring stand up comedy and if you love tracking who’s next to break out, you should pay attention. The new half hour series, Uproarious promises to showcase today’s most promising talent and emerging digital personalities. While we can’t speak as much to the digital personality part, the stand up lineup is a well curated list of some seriously promising young talent.

Filmed at the Irvine Improv last spring, the 10 part series will feature some of our favorite young stand up acts. We’ve been following New York rising talent Emma Willmann for two years now (check out our recent profile with Emma in our Up Next series), and her star is most definitely on the rise. Jesus Trejo had one of the strongest performances at New Faces this year- he’s a regular at LA’s Comedy Store. Doug Smith you might remember as the comedian who heroically saved a woman being attacked on a Subway platform, and we’ve also raved about Erik Bergstrom, Janelle James, Casey James Salengo, Blair Socci, Abby Rosenquist, David Gborie, Caleb Synan, Shane Torres, Mike Polk Jr. (see our recent interview with Mike!) and Kelsey Cook.  These are just a few of the names you will see over the course of the season.

The premiere episode kicks off with Mike Polk Jr., Molly Ruben-Long and Jesus Trejo, on October 7th at 11pm. Actor, Comedian and YouTube personality Jimmy Tatro (who you’ve seen in 22 Jump Street and Grown Ups 2) hosts.

Produced by Levity Entertainment.  Uproarious will premiere Friday, October 7 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.
