Comedy Central Planning Big #JonVoyage For Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart is leaving The Daily Show on August 6th.

The award-winning host has given emotional send-offs to countless correspondents over the years, from Stephen Colbert to Ed Helms to John Oliver. However, Stewart himself has shied away from making his last months on the show a giant farewell tour, like we recently saw with David Letterman leaving late-night television.  Just two weeks ago Stewart told guest Judd Apatow that he had no plans for a big celebrity studded send off.

Comedy Central, however, won’t let Stewart leave that quietly.

The network plan to promote a heartfelt #JonVoyage to the legendary host and comedian. Beginning tomorrow, June 26, fans can binge watch The Daily Show like never before. The network announced “Your Month of Zen,” which will feature a continuous stream of more than 2,000 episodes of The Daily Show from Jon Stewart’s incredible 16-year run. The first episode — Jon’s first night as host of the show on January 11, 1999 — will stream tomorrow at 12pm EST to kick off the #JonVoyage.

You can find “Your Month of Zen” on thedailyshow.com/monthofzen and on the Comedy Central app.
