Chris D’Elia Will Guest on Unmasked with Ron Bennington at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival
Yesterday Ron Bennington announced that for the first time ever, he’s taking Unmasked up to the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He already announced that he’ll be sitting down with Bill Burr in front of a live studio audience for an hour interview, and now he’s added a second show, with a live audience with special guest Chris D’Elia.
In the series, Bennington interviews the biggest names in comedy about their craft, and their creativity in front of a live audience. D’Elia has had a career changing year, so he’ll have a lot to talk about. He’s the star of NBC’s hit series Undateable, they wrapped season one with a LIVE episode and an announcement that the entire season two will be live, and the entire cast went on a giant tour earlier this spring. And this summer he’s touring major clubs around the country. Bennington and D’Elia will sit down for an hour with a live audience at Montreal’s Just for Laughs comedy festival on July 24th at 6:15pm at the Hyatt Regency Montreal and you can get tickets for free, just by asking for them, (and not getting closed out- there are only a limited number of tickets available).
Bennington’s Unmasked series documents the careers of the very best comedy writers, directors, filmmakers, actors, screenwriters, satirists, political comedians, comedic musicians and of course, stand up comedians in the business. With over 125 episodes so far, Unmasked is an archive of some of the greatest comedy of our time. Past Unmasked guests have included Joan Rivers, Bob Newhart, Amy Schumer, Dan Aykroyd, Simon Pegg, Tracy Morgan, Paul Feig, Jim Jefferies, Gilbert Gottfried, Bobcat Goldthwait, Louis C.K., David Brenner, Brian Regan, Patrice O’Neal and over 100 more comedy greats.
