The Bonfire’s Dan Soder and Big Jay Oakerson Finally Face off With Corey Feldman…on Twitter

It’s the Bonfire vs Corey Feldman, and the Campers vs the Feldfam in the best Twitter fight since….well…the last one. Corey Feldman has finally acknowledged the Bonfire on Twitter and Bonfire fans couldn’t be happier.

Everyone on the internet has been talking about Corey Feldman for weeks. The former child star/current pop ‘superstar’ became an online sensation after a batshit insane performance on the Today Show a few weeks back caught everyone’s attention.

In the pantheon of Corey Feldman appreciation, there are none more dedicated than comedians Big Jay Oakerson and “Vanilla” Dan Soder. The two comics, who host the SiriusXM show The Bonfire, are Ph.D students in the field of Feldology, having recently dedicated multiple episodes of their show to discussing Feldman’s viral clips. Just last week, the two heard that Feldman was not far from the SiriusXM offices and tried (and failed) to get him into the studio on short notice. Now, one of the campers (fans of The Bonfire) has connected the two parties together and . . . let’s just say it didn’t go too well.

Feldman posted a tweet on Saturday ranting about the Clinton Foundation and received a response from a camper, asking him to address the rumor that he only provides his “angels” (the harem of girls who live with Feldman and perform in his band) one vegan meal a day. The two went back and forth for a bit, and the camper tagged Oakerson, Soder and the official Bonfire Twitter account in the exchange.

Here’s how it went:

It’s unclear if Feldman actually heard any clips of the two comics talking about him, but he decided pretty quickly that he was going to block them once they were tagged:

Oakerson was the first representative from the show to jump into the conversation:

Soder quickly followed, urging the camper who tagged them not to give in to Feldman’s boyish charm:

Then, Feldman clapped back at Soder with this sick burn:

Another camper tried to talk Feldman down, and he eventually moved on after imploring Soder and Oakerson to seek out the #TRUTH:

Seeing as how Feldman referred to the duo as “bottom feeders” and “wannabe shock jocks” and apparently blocked them, I think it’s safe to say that we won’t be getting our Feldog-on-Bonfire appearance that we’ve all been dying for. They always say it’s best not to meet your heroes anyway, lest they disappoint.

Either way, be sure to check out Jay and Dan on The Bonfire, airing every Monday and Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. on SiriusXM’s Comedy Central Radio channel 95. #Cracklecrackle
