The Bonfire Moves to Four Days a Week on SiriusXM

Yesterday, Comedy Central made official something that has been in the works for some time now- they have expanded The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder from two shows per week to four giving “Campers” (yes, that’s what they call their fans) twice as much show.

Jay and Dan started their show Monday addressing the many big questions their fans had like “what time will the new shows be?” and “what days?” with the obvious answer: the daily show will now air Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET on SiriusXM’s Comedy Central Radio (channel 95). Since 2015, the show has aired in the same time slot on Mondays and Wednesdays.

“I’m excited buddy, a little nervous, a little excited. It’s going to be super exciting,” Big Jay told Soder before the two got into talking about this weekend’s wildly successful Skankfest in New York City.

The Bonfire launched two years ago in 2015 and has been building ever since. We love The Bonfire and we love Jay and Dan whose careers have just been on fire lately. Jay and Dan have been a huge part of seemingly every important comedy festival this year, they both put out debut hour specials in 2016 with Comedy Central, and Soder has a half hour comedy special coming out on Netflix this summer. Oakerson’s What’s Your Fucking Deal?! show was a hit on NBC’s Seeso and continues to tour the country, and Soder is killing as Mafee on Showtime’s Billions. And that’s just the big stuff.

Tune in to The Bonfire four days a week on SiriusXM! Congratulations to The Bonfire team, we can’t wait to hear what’s coming next.
