Bill Cosby Wants The Press To Stay “Neutral” With Rape Allegations

Rape Allegations Won't Go Away For Bill Cosby

In a rare conversation with the press, Bill Cosby told a New York Post reporter from Page Six that he wants to the media to remain neutral while covering the sexual assault allegations against him. Cosby had a brief conversation with the reporter by phone from his home in Massachusetts. During the interview, Cosby would not talk about the accusations directly. But instead talked about the media’s responsibility, especially the black media. He said, “Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind.”

Cosby also ended the phone call quickly, saying, “They don’t want me talking to the media.”

Interesting. He is not even asking the media to believe him. Just stay neutral. Poor Bill is playing for a tie right now.
