Bennington Celebrates Fez Whatley on his Birthday & Announces a Major Event Set to Take Place this Summer

The Bennington Show celebrated Fez’s first birthday since his passing with awesome stories, a beautiful poem by Earl Douglas and a major announcement of an event they have planned to celebrate the career of the radio personality and co-host of The Ron and Fez Show, Fez Whatley. Ron Bennington announced that the celebration will take place in New York early this summer. He also said they’ll be inviting guests to join them and letting fans know how to attend this live event, so stayed tuned for that information.

In addition to this exciting news, the Benningtons reminisced and put on a beautiful birthday tribute for Fez today. The team shared memories including Fez’s birthday dinner of choice, (boiled ham and cabbage followed by ice cream cake), the many ways his love was in the details of his parties and his ability to create unforgettable memories for the people he loved. As I listened to today’s broadcast, I couldn’t help but think about the famous last line, in the last song, on the last Beatles album, “The love you take is equal to the love you make.” Fez Whatley was a beacon of love who spent his life creating love and joy for others and the event set to take place this summer will surely be a celebration of that love. Until then, happy birthday, Fez!!!
