Cosby’s Letterman Appearance Cancelled

Bill Cosby’s scheduled appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman for next Wednesday is now off. According to Newsday, the Late Show confirmed the cancellation, but neither side is saying who cancelled it or why it isn’t happening. CBS announced that Cosby will be replaced on next Wednesday’s show by good ol’ reliable, Regis Philbin.

The rumors of Cosby’s alleged sexual assaults against women were back in the news again after a Cosby meme disaster online and an accuser spoke out publicly about the allegations. While it’s not definite that it was Cosby’s people who cancelled Letterman, after the Cosby Meme Generator went so wrong, they may have realized the Top 10 List wasn’t going to go much better.
