The country’s oldest undergrad drama troupe has given its annual highest honor to Amy Poehler. Each year, Hasty Pudding honors a woman and man of the year. The group told Page Six that Amy Poehler is exactly what they look for in an honoree. They said, Amy…”“fits so well with the Pudding’s own tradition of satire and social commentary.”
Amy is getting the honor as her NBC series “Parks and Recreation” is going into its final season. She’s also co-hosting the Golden Globes this Sunday with Tina Fey.
The Harvard Hasty Pudding ceremony and parade will be later this month on Thursday, January 29th. The announcement on the group’s Man of the Year will be coming soon.
