The Bay Area’s own Amy Miller is set to release her first album later this month. Called Solid Gold, this album promises to deliver Miller at her sharpest yet. Known for her extremely candid approach, Miller is out to prove that she has the comedy chops to hang with the best of them.

Amy is a regular on SiriusXM’s Bennington Show and is also known for her turn on NBC’s most recent season of Last Comic Standing.  An Oakland, California native, Miller came up in the west coast comedy scene. She’s a regular at venues like Cobb’s Comedy Club and the San Francisco Punch Line. She also made a name for herself while living in Portland, winning Helium Comedy Club’s Portland’s Funniest Comedian contest as well as being voted Portland’s Funniest in both 2013 and 2015 by the Willamette Week, which she also writes a column for.

There’s a reason that Roseanne Barr referred to Miller as “a star” and “a contender for the next alpha female comedian;” She’s quick, honest and of course, very funny. She seems poised to hit it big, so do yourself a favor and jump on the bandwagon early so you can look cool in front of your friends.

Solid Gold will be released via Kill Rock Stars on November 25th, both digitally and on CD. For more information on Miller and her album, head on over to her website.
