Who’s on Late Night Tonight in Comedy?

This week, a comedian returns home to the Tonight Show, Thomas Middleditch is looking for a kidney in late night and President Trump may just want to turn off his TV after 11pm.

The Presidential Election has been decided and that means that all the late night jokes made at President Trump’s expense are going to be ramped up to 11 this week. There’s not a host in late night that doesn’t take a jab on a nightly basis at the misadventures of Donald J. Trump, American President. So, expect every one of them to really go all out as their time making fun of the Commander-in-Chief starts to tick down.

The presidential razzing begins on Monday night when Sarah Cooper who’s made a name for herself during the campaign lip-synching Donald Trump’s speeches, rallies and tantrums, appears on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Monday evening. Then if that wasn’t enough, on Wednesday night, Seth Meyers welcomes the curmudgeon extraordinaire Lewis Black to Late Night. Lewis has been ready to explode since Trump was sworn in nearly 4 years ago and now he’ll be ready to go full volcanic. Then on Thursday, Michael Moore will be on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 4 years ago, Moore predicted Trump’s accession to the White House and now he’ll be reveling in his eviction.

Thomas Middleditch who is best known as the awkward creator of the compression software company Pied Piper on the HBO series “Silicon Valley“, has a new network series on CBS called “B Positive” where he plays a friendless man in need of a kidney transplant. Hilarious. Thomas will be touring the CBS late night shows to try to convince us to laugh at renal failure. He’ll be on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Monday night and then on James Corden’s Late Late Show on Tuesday night.

Thursday night, a comedian who made his national television stand up debut on the Tonight Show will return as Jimmy Fallon’s guest. Josh Johnson, a former writer on the Tonight Show, got his national start on Jimmy Fallon’s stage. Josh was a touring comedian until of course, the pandemic hit. He’s also currently a writer on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah at Comedy Central. Thursday night, Josh and Jimmy reunite.

Finally on Friday, it’s the Season Finale of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. Any regular fans of Maher’s political comedy and doomsaying knows that he has been pontificating about how Donald Trump will steal the election. Now, Bill Maher’s moved on to predicting that Trump won’t leave when President-Elect Joe Biden is sworn in on January 20, 2021. Get ready for one last rant about Donald Trump from Bill Maher for the rest of the year. Real Time with Bill Maher will return in January, 2021.
