Tracy Morgan and Luke Wilson Cast in New Dark Comedy ‘The Shitheads’

Details are slim at this point, but Deadline is reporting that Tracy Morgan (30 Rock, Saturday Night Live) and Luke Wilson (Idiocracy, Old School) have both been picked up to star in a new dark comedy called The Shitheads. The film, affectionately described as “The Last Detail by way of Bret Easton Ellis,” will feature Morgan and Wilson as two “deeply unqualified bozos who’ve been hired to transport a troubled teenage millionaire to rehab.”

The Shitheads will be directed by Macon Blair, the belle of the ball at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, where his directorial debut I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore won the Grand Jury Prize. That film, about a woman-turned-vigilante who attempts to track down the people who robbed her house alongside a very creepy looking Elijah Wood, just recently came to Netflix, so check it out to get a taste of what Blair is all about.

There is no information yet on when the film is excepted to start shooting or be released, so check back in with The IBang for more information as it comes out.
