Jimmy Fallon and His Finger Explained in Detail

Is Jimmy Fallon’s drinking a problem? According to Page Six, the higher-ups over at NBC are still concerned that Jimmy Fallon’s drinking is getting “out of control,” and apparently warned him to cut back. The Tonight Show host has a history of accidents that were suspected to have happened while he was drunk, and he was seen just last month drunkenly dancing at a punk bar at 3 a.m.

While NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt denies that Fallon received any such warning, while sources who spoke with Page Six claim that Fallon has been a cause for concern for NBC as of late.

“There were fears that Fallon was out of control and that something could happen while he’s out drinking. Things got so serious at one stage that execs feared that Jimmy was splitting up with his wife over his drinking, but they patched things up,” the source told Page Six.

Another source backed up the drinking claims, saying Fallon “is a heavy drinker” who “sees himself as somebody who needs image rehabilitation.”

It’s plainly obvious that Fallon likes to have a drink (or five) and let loose from time to time, but it’s unclear how much truth there is to these anonymous claims. For his part, Greenblatt praised Fallon as “one of NBC’s biggest assets” and said that “any suggestion that we have concerns about his behavior or have given him any kind of ‘warning’ is completely false.”
