Bill Simmons Leaving ESPN
After 15 years, sports writer and editor of “Grantland”, Bill Simmons and ESPN are parting ways. ESPN President John Skipper said, “I’ve decided that I’m not going to renew his contract. We’ve been talking to Bill and his agent and it was clear we weren’t going to get to the terms, so we were better off focusing on transition.” It was added though that if Simmons does leave the sports network in the Fall when his contract is up, he will be immediately suspended by ESPN.
