Warner Brothers Drops Sandler Talks. Is Netflix Deal to Blame?

Sources have told The Hollywood Reporter that Warner Brothers has stopped conversations about making the Adam Sandler project The Ridiculous Six after Sandler announced an exclusive four picture deal with Netflix last week.
One source told THR the Netflix deal was not the only factor in the decision to stop pursing Sandler’s western comedy. Another insider said the decision was unrelated, but the timing is certainly interesting. No official comment from the Warner Brothers camp, but both Warner Brothers and Sony have indicated that they will continue to work with Sandler in the future.
