Who is Hosting Saturday Night Live Tonight: November 26, 2016
It’s Saturday November 26, 2016 but SNL is not live tonight. The cast is off this week, recovering from Thanksgiving undoubtedly. This week, NBC is running a repeat episode from earlier this season, and sadly, not one of the stronger episodes. But if you’re a big fan of Hamilton, you’ll be happy because the SNL Episode starting Lin Manuel Miranda will re-air tonight. The episode originally aired earlier this season- October 8, 2016.
If you know your recent history, then you know this was the episode of SNL that aired 24 hours after President-Elect Donald Trump’s “pussygate” video dropped, so there are some fun sketches addressing Donald and Billy Bush’s infamous conversation. Our favorite sketch from the episode showed up right before the closing credits. A Stranger Things themed bit, answered the biggest question from season 1- does that black kid have parents?
Other highlights included a cold open with Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon and a solid Weekend Update segment from Michael Che and Colin Jost. Bad news for Jimmy Fallon, looks like that terrible attempt at a Philly accent is resurfacing sooner than you expected.
