Victoria Jackson Loses Election Bid

Victoria Jackson, the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member who was running for a seat on the Williamson County Commission in Tennessee lost her election.
Jackson ran as a conservative Tea Party candidate and according to the Tennessean.com received 632 votes. Each of her opponents got more than twice the votes that Jackson did.
Unfortunately for Jackson, not enough voters thought “Glee” and its gay storylines should be taken off the air, to sweep her into office.
