Uber Has Created A Taxi Graveyard In NYC

There are now more Ubers on the road than yellow taxis and taxi medallion prices have plummeted in recent years. In one neighborhood in Brooklyn, you can find the taxi lots and surrounding streets full of unused yellow cabs. Just like an elephant graveyard, but less depressing and majestic.

nice work, the only mistake is that the medallion can not adapt for one simple reason. The TLC controls every aspect of the yellow taxi. every inch of that car must be as to TLC Regs or you are fined or suspended. Example if you see a bumper sticker on the cab that was approved by the TLC. So from the driver to the cab rates to the car type to the insurance, the taxes to be paid EVERYTHING is all controlled by the TLC and they are not helping. Lastly the only taxi allowed to pickup hails and ehail is the yellow and Uber breaks that law everyday with no enforcement
