Tracy Morgan’s Message to Children: “Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Love You.”
At the Garden of Laughs comedy fundraiser at Madison Square Garden, Tracy Morgan and his wife, Megan Wollover, said hello to our own Monday morning columnist, Jeffrey Gurian on the red carpet. Tracy said he was happy to attend the charity event because “it’s all about the children.” He said his youngest child, Maven, was only ten months old when he was seriously injured when a Walmart truck crashed into the vehicle he was riding in.
Surviving the accident, he said, put him in a position not only to be there for his own kids, but also to make a difference in the lives of other children. “For all the children that’s involved,” he said, “Mr. and Mrs Morgan love you.”
“Everything for a reason. He spared my life for a reason. Things like this. So I can’t take it for granted anymore. I’m here, I’m a part of it, thank God,” he said, before noting that he’s known Gurian for 25 years.
