1. Joe Mande.  

The Minnesota born comic moved to New York City after graduating from college and hasn’t looked back. Mande is currently a writer for the hit NBC show ‘Parks & Recreation’ which he landed after touring with one of the shows stars, Aziz Ansari. Mande has used his dry wit and great storytelling ability to become one of the hottest and sought after young comics in the country. 2.  Chelsea Peretti.

 

A long-time veteran of the New York club scene, made herself known in the entertainment industry by writing for popular televison shows such as ‘The Sarah Silverman Program’, ‘Portlandia’ and most recently ‘Parks & Recreation’. Peretti’s comedic style cannot be defined as she toggles between fun and goofy to dark and perverse. 3.  James Adomian

4.  Rob Delaney

After battling depression and floundering as a stand-up comic, Delaney discovered Twitter in it’s early days and quickly became one of the sites most popular comedic users by being able to churn out funny, random thought to anyone willing to listen. Delaney has catapulted himself to stardom using the social media site by going from a relative unknown to amassing 875,000 followers and being able to sell his own C.D. for $5 directly to his fans despite not having much mass media exposure. But when taking the stage, the comedians easy and lovable demeanor will reveal the big teddy bear that he is with his relaxed and innovative style. Funches wasted not time after moving from the Portland, Oregon comedy scene to Los Angeles where he quickly began dominating the local club scene and landing a writing gig on Comedy Centrals ‘Kroll Show’. 6.  Michael Che

Winning NY’s funniest stand-up competition. An appearance on ‘The Late Show With David Letterman’. An article profiling him in the ‘New York Times’. Not bad for a guy who only started doing stand-up in 2009. Michael Che is one of the biggest rising stars in the New York club scene and it’s easy to see why. Che routinely buzzes around doing up to five spots on a busy friday night in NY’s grueling comedy circuit. 7.  Rory Scovel

 

 

There may not be a young comedian with a brighter future than Rory Scovel. The unpredictable Scovel gained national exposure through his appearances on ‘Conan’ with fellow comedian Jon Dore which featured the two comics delivering their act at the same time. A role on the upcoming TBS sitcom ‘Do It Yourself’ is only the beginning for the South Carolina native who has been known to improv entire stand-up sets in different accents ranging from Southern to German.
