Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders Planning Big Road Trip
Comedy power couple Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders don’t always get to spend a lot of time together, but since they’ve both been performing on Broadway in separate shows, they are at least on the same schedule. Smulders was on stage with Kevin Kline in the show Present Laughter, while Killam has been keeping busy in his post-SNL life by performing in Broadway sensation Hamilton.
On Monday night, Smulders told Seth Meyers during an appearance on Late Night that she and Taran are going to make up for lost time with each other and their kids by renting an RV and driving as a family from New York to Los Angeles once their Broadway runs are over. Cobie says she’s excited to find out what goes on in the middle of the country. She hasn’t started planning yet- she’ll need to do some mapping and figure out some of the basic rules of road, like where you can take an RV and all those pesky seat belt laws. But she’s excited.
