A marketing ploy across the nation antagonized some, warmed the hearts of fans and most importantly, promoted season 20 of “South Park”.

Large white vans placed at strategic points like the White House, and the Church of Scientology– bearing images from past episodes about those places quickly annoyed the people inside those iconic buildings. The images were stills from each episode with the text “We’ve been there.” and the pertinent information about the latest season of “South Park”. The vans and their posters served as a reminder that the demented comedy of “South Park” is rooted in reality, prompting the question of where and who the show will lampoon next.
