2017 has been a big big year for revivals, and a gigantic year for Paul Reiser so makes perfect sense that Sony Pictures is interested in bringing back Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt for a revival run of their smash hit series Mad About You. The series would potentially follow present-day Paul and Jamie, who are suffering from a case of empty nest syndrome as their 17-year-old daughter Mabel goes to college. The award-winning series ran on NBC from 1992 to 1999.
This year, big revivals have aired and are in the works including Fuller House, Will and Grace, and Roseanne.
Paul Reiser’s career has been hot both on and off screen this year as well. Reiser had a role on Stranger Things on Netflix, starred in three seasons of Red Oaks for Amazon, and landed his passion project, There’s…Johnny on Hulu.
