Mike Epps on Taking Over the John Candy Role in Uncle Buck

Mike Epps explained his new movie “Meet the Blacks” on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. It’s not a movie about meeting the blacks– it’s a parody movie, doing a send up of the popular horror film “The Purge.”
Mike Tyson, Charlie Murphy, George Lopez all are in the movie. Epps said he filmed a couple of scenes with Tyson, and remembered that he could feel Mike’s power just standing near him. The movie opens on Friday.
He’s also starring in the tv version of the John Candy movie, Uncle Buck. Epps plays the Candy role in the new series which will air on network tv. This will be a rare “clean” family-friendly Epps role, who said that finally his grandmother will be able to watch him work.
