The IBang Presents! Comedy 101: Tell a Joke or Be a Joke at The Stand in New York City

We are very excited to announce our first Interrobang Production and we want you to come celebrate with us!

We are joining up with our friends at SiriusXM’s Bennington Show to produce our first open to the public comedy show- Comedy 101: Tell a Joke or Be a Joke. Taking place on June 15 at The Stand NYC comedy club in New York City, Comedy 101 brings comedy veteran talents together with open mic beginners- who have only been doing comedy for a few months or less- to create an unforgettable show. Five open mic comics will take the stage for their very first time in front of a legit audience, on a real comedy stage and try to impress our panel of mentors. Three comedy vets will sit in judgement, ready to interrupt the open mic’ers at any moment, and mentor them with “advice” about their set.

The show will be hosted by Ron Bennington and Gail Bennington, with celebrity judges to be announced and plenty of special guests.

Last November, Comedy 101 debuted at the SiriusXM Family Thanksgiving Dinner at the world famous Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to rave reviews with guest “mentors” Rich Vos, Luis J. Gomez, Dan Soder and Joe List who gave brutally honest advice. Advice like, “Wait, why did you do a joke with none of the jokes?” and “You should knock off the school shooter laugh, it’s throwing people off.”

Don’t miss the chance to see Comedy 101 hit the stage at one of New York’s best clubs- The Stand on June 15 at 8pm. The Stand was named New York Magazine’s “Best Comedy Club” for putting the very best talent on their stage each and every night, and yes, they have great food. The Stand is located at 239 Third Avenue, at 19th Street in New York City.

Tickets are free, but limited, and you need to request them by emailing us at Comedy101Live@gmail.com. Submit your requests quickly, they will sell out! See you June 15 at the Stand!
