Ladies and gentlemen, The Heathens! FX has released the opening title sequence for its new comedy starring Denis Leary, “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll”. The comedy with the most ampersands in its title in television history has a debut date finally and its July 16th at 10pm on FX.

The series stars Denis Leary as Johnny Rock, the lead singer of the band The Heathens. The rock band was on its way in the early 90s, but broke up just as their first album was being released. It turns out the split 25 years ago was because of Johnny Rock’s love of every drug imaginable and it never helps band camaraderie when the lead singer sleeps with the guitar player’s wife. Now Johnny Rock is desperate to get the band back together in one more attempt to grab the fame he felt he deserved all those years ago. “Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” co-stars John Corbett, Elizabeth Gillies, Elaine Hendrix and Robert Kelly as Bam Bam.

In the video, The Heathens perform the show’s theme song. It’s amazing. Not the music, but seeing Robert Kelly with hair.

“Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll” premieres Thursday, July 16th at 10pm et on FX.
