Christopher Lloyd, Casts of Veep, and Silicon Valley Added to SF Sketchfest

Part of the annual tradition of San Francisco Comedy Festival, SF Sketchfest is honoring great names in comedy. The 14th annual SF Sketchfest continues that this year by bringing Christopher Lloyd, Penn & Teller and the HBO comedy “Veep” to San Francisco and giving them their due.

christopher-lloydThe SFS tribute to Christopher Lloyd includes a 30th anniversary screening of “Back to the Future” so BTTF fanatics will get their chance to screen the original  movie with Dr. Emmett Brown himself  on February 6th.

On February 7th, SF Sketchfest honors the HBO series “Veep” with a special appearance by the entire cast, there will be a panel discussion, with the cast of HBO’s “Silicon Valley” including Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Kumail Nanjiani and Zach Woods on Saturday, January 31 at Marines’ Memorial Theatre and master comedians, magicians and entertainers Penn & Teller will be recognized with a tribute at the Castro on Tuesday, February 3rd.

Events already announced for the 2015 SF Sketchfest include appearances by Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer to talk about “This Is Spinal Tap; Weird Al Yankovic in conversation with Chris Hardwick and performances and appearances by Maria Bamford, Doug Benson, Wyatt Cenac, John Cho, Margaret Cho, Jeff Garlin, Janeane Garofalo, John Hodgman, Pete Holmes,  Jenny Slate, Paul F. Tompkins and dozens of others.
