Aziz Ansari Shares His Twitter Screenplay, Exposes the Mick Jagger Move, and Shares a Favorite Harris Wittels Moment

Aziz Ansari was on a long flight and came up an idea for a movie, and decided to pass time by tweeting out his screenplay. Last night on Conan, he asked Conan O’Brien if they could do a table read of his script, Ghost Plane. Aziz plays the handsome Indian guy and reads stage directions. Conan plays Jennifer Lawrence playing a flight attendant. Also apparently her character’s name is also Jennifer Lawrence. It’s not a bad screenplay necessarily, but mostly it seems like an excuse for Aziz to say nuts in your face, and to get Conan to play all the girl parts.

Aziz also talked about some wild after Oscar parties. He got to meet Patrick Stewart, which was cool for him, and found out that a lot of people mistake Stewart for Ben Kingsly. Aziz shared that he’s mistaken for every Indian guy ever. He also met the kid from Grand Budapest Hotel, and encouraged him to introduce himself to Mick Jagger, and got to experience first hand, how Mick Jagger gets himself out of long conversations with fans.

He got serious for a moment to talk about his good friend, Harris Wittels, who died last week. He shared a memory of his favorite email ever, which was sent from Wittels, as a reply all,in response to a mandatory sexual harrassment seminar email at NBC.

Aziz is currently on tour, where he continues to be mistaken for other Indian guys, and other Indian guys are mistaken for him.
