Talking with NPR, Annie had this to say about the twerking craze these young kids are all about.
“Listen,” said Lennox, “Twerking is not feminism. That’s what I’m referring to. It’s not — it’s not liberating, it’s not empowering. It’s a sexual thing that you’re doing on a stage; it doesn’t empower you.”
Yeah, but what if you’re grinding your ass on Robin Thicke while a bunch of insane looking teddy bears are dancing around you? Isn’t that empowering?
