Wyatt Cenac New Comedy Special Out On Netflix October 21st

Netflix has added another stand up special to its Fall release schedule. Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn will premiere Tuesday, October 21st on the streaming service. This is the second comedy hour from Cenac known for his Emmy Award winning correspondent work on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
The same day that Wyatt Cenac: Brooklyn debuts on Netflix, a limited edition vinyl LP of the special will also be available. Only 1,000 copies of the LP will be made for purchase.
Cenac says his special “Brooklyn”, got its name because first of all, it was recorded in Brooklyn at Union Hall, but also because he doesn’t like having to think up names for things. In his new hour of stand up, Cenac talks about everything that enters his mind including how ridiculous it is for adults to give each other hickeys and how his grandmother’s old neighborhood has changed over the years, so that now it’s the backdrop for 3 sitcoms, a cop drama and a reality show.
In addition to Wyatt Cencac: Brooklyn, Netflix has plenty of other stand up comedy specials due out this year including Chelsea Handler’s “Uganda Be Kidding Me Live” special (October 10th), Chelsea Peretti: One of the Greats (November 14th), Bill Cosby 77 (November 28th) and Bill Burr’s I’m Sorry You Feel That Way (December 5th).
