Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis Should Just Tour Already

Fans of FOX’s The Last Man on Earth may remember the very emotional duet sung by Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis’ characters this past season. Phil/Tandy and his brother Mike Miller sing the song “Falling Slowly” so many times we couldn’t keep track, much to the irritation of the other apocalypse survivors.

Wednesday night, Forte was a guest on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and Jimmy asked him if he wouldn’t mind doing a solo number. Forte said absolutely not, he refused to sing– that is unless he was allowed to bring out his pal Jason Sudeikis. They didn’t reprise Falling Slowly. Instead they created a new version of REO Speedwagon’s Can’t Fight This Feeling for a whole new generation to enjoy. The two are long time friends who have confessed to hitting up Karaoke bars together, and the REO Speedwagon classic has always been Forte and Sudeikis’ go to song. In 2013 Forte told Kidd Kraddick, they also like to take on Always and Forever, with Jason on melody and Forte picking up harmony.

Back in 2012 the duo sang Don’t Think Twice at Dylan Fest, someone caught them singing Material Girl on Seth Herzog’s show “Sweet” at Webster Hall in 2010, and I’m sure we must be missing a few more, including a bunch of times they’ve each sang separately.

Come on guys, we know you want to karaoke tour. Just announce already.
