Will Ferrell Starring In New Shakespearean Theater Comedy

Will Ferrell, Shakespearean actor? Yes it’s true. Will Ferrell will star in a new untitled comedy from Sony. Variety describes the film as being centered around the “intense, competitive world inside a Shakespearean theater company.”
The screenplay is being written by David Guion and Michael Handelman (“The Internship,” “The Watch,” “Blades of Glory”). Sony and Ferrell have collaborated on a long list of films. The company has produced the Will Ferrell comedies, “Step Brothers,” “The Other Guys” and “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby”. Sony just bought a buddy comedy starring Ferrell and John C. Reilly called “Border Guards”.
Next up for Will Ferrell is the prison comedy “Get Hard” co-starring Kevin Hart due out in March, 2015.
