Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig Film A Secret Lifetime Movie
Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig are doing a Lifetime project? Television really has turned a corner.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the two very current movie stars/box office draws are have made a movie for the network called “A Deadly Adoption” which is actually a campy spin on the type of melodramatic soap opera-ish thriller that Lifetime has become known for, and will air on the channel. The plot of “A Deadly Adoption” is described as “a successful couple who house and care for a pregnant woman, played by Jessica Lowndes, with the hopes of adopting her unborn child — then things quickly go awry”.
Ferrell has said that he’s a huge fan of Lifetime movies and has always wanted to make one.
The TV movie will be produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and their Gary Sanchez Productions company. “A Deadly Adoption” is expected to premiere on Lifetime early this Summer.
