Who is Hosting Saturday Night Live Tonight: March 12, 2022

Dedicated to the brilliant and beautiful Ernie Tripper

SNL is live tonight! There’s a totally new live episode! And Pete Davidson probably wont be there.  But you know who will? Zoe Kravitz, cause she’s this week’s host! This will be a popular episode because Zoe is one of the stars of the hottest movie in the world right now- she plays catwoman in The Batman.  If you’re not a super fan of super heroes you also know Zoe from her incredible acting resume that includes her role as Rob in the “High Fidelity” tv series based on the book which also had a movie based on it.  You loved her as Bonnie in “Big Little Lies” , Pearl on “Californication” for a short run, and of course “Mad Max Fury Road”, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, “After Earth” the “Divergent” series and, “X Men” plus much more. She’s also an incredibly successful model- yeah she’s stunning. And she’s singer with the band Lolawolf and has released two albums.  Zoe’s a big star which means she also has a super celebrity romance- she’s been dating Channing Tatum for about a year now and things are still going strong, and as long as we’re getting personal, her dad is dad is super hot super talented musician Lenny Kravitz, and super hot super talented actor Lisa Bonet.

Tonight’s musical guests is Rosalia

In a promo for tonight’s episode, Mikey Day and Chris Redd act childish, and not just about Mac and Cheese.

What can we expect from the Saturday Night Live writers this week? Even though this year the writers have seemed to shy away from references to hosts current projects, we still feel some kind of cat woman reference too irresistible to pass up.   It’s a certainty we’ll see a Jussie Smollett reference, maybe even in the cold open. And maybe some weekend update references to Elon Musks new baby, an American astronaut stranded on the ISS, Disney fumbling the “don’t say gay” issue in Florida, Bob Dylan’s new book and King Kong Monkey.

You can find out for yourselves tonight at 11:30pm ET on NBC and streaming on Peacock.
