The first trailer for the upcoming “Wet Hot American Summer” series on Netflix revealed that the entire cast of the 2001 Summer camp comedy are returning for the prequel. Also coming back are Michael Showalter who is part of the cast and co-writing the series along with David Wain, who’s also directing it. Now, even more names have been added to the limited series which will be available this Summer on Netflix.

According to Deadline, Kristen Wiig is playing a snobbish counselor from a rival camp, Jon Hamm is playing a spy for some reason, Jason Schwartzman plays the head counselor of the boys camp. And Chris Pine’s role must be very mysterious because all anyone is saying is that his character is “mysterious”.

Other guest appearances in what’s becoming a very crowded Summer camp include Michaela Watkins, John Slattery, Josh Charles, Randall Park, Jayma Mays, Lake Bell, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel and Richard Schiff.

“Wet Hot American Summer” took place at Camp Firewood in 1981 on the last day of camp. The Netflix prequel series takes place on the first day of camp. The series is expected to be ready for live streaming this Summer.
