Study Links Sturgis Rally to 250,000 Covid Cases

A new study from the IZA Institute of Labor Economics is staying that the crowding that took place at the Sturgis motorcycle rally this year may have caused as much as $12 billion in public health costs and 250,000 covid cases. 400,000 people attended the 10 day event which had very little use of masks or social distancing.

The Social Security Administration has released its annual list of most popular baby names for 2019 and Emma has been dethroned after spending 5 years as the #1 girls name on the list. Oliva is now the most popular girls name. Liam has stayed at number one for the third year in a row.
