Watch Will Ferrell as George W. Bush on @midnight
Now that Anthony Atamanuik and James Adomian have been showing up all over the place as political figures Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, @midnight wants to keep the political party going. Tuesday night, they brought Will Ferrell on in character as George W. Bush. The former President addressed the audience, almost shaking hands, and addressed “fellow Americans,” “people of online” and “weedboner69.”
He had a few words to say about his cousin Billy’s behavior in the #pussygate recording. He described the younger Bush’s behavior as “disgraceful.” “We Bush’s don’t act like that,” he said. “We have standards, we were raised a certain way, and we would never, under any circumstances…ride a bus. When you’re a Bush you ride in a limousine or a Jump Jet or maybe a Monster Truck called Sasquatch Express, but never a bus.” Ferrell/Bush thanked Trump for making him look great to the American public, recommended ordering the cheesecake whenever you’re at The Cheesecake Factory, and called Trump dangerous. He explained that if Trump behaved sexually aggressive in the state of Texas, they would give him the Amarillo Steak and Eggs treatment. He explained: “If he tried jamming his Tic Tac covered cow dung down a ladies throat in Texas we’d give him what we call the Amarillo Steak and Eggs. That’s where you cook him up a nice t-bone steak medium rare with a side of grits and then you drag him with your truck.”
After exchanging pleasantries and a string of ad-libs about Laura Bush’s hat, the Prez joined the three players at a very special rare fourth @midnight podium to play a round of @midnight. Spoiler alert, he said funny things.
