Walmart Drops Ad That Reminds People Of Eric Garner

Some people on Twitter were a little more sensitive to a Walmart commercial after the grand jury decision not to indict the New York cop involved in Eric Garner’s death. In the spot featuring a black family, a young girl gets a new phone from her dad and hugs him around the neck while he says, “I can’t breathe”. Walmart has now dropped the ad and according to the company is recutting it. In the new version, an unarmed Walmart shopper gets shot by a Ferguson police officer.
