Van Halen To Play Jimmy Kimmel

Next Monday and Tuesday, March 30th and 31st, television history will be made. Did you know that Van Halen has never appeared on American TV with Diamond Dave? Jimmy Kimmel is going to make that happen. According to Stereogum, VH is gonna bust their TV cherry with a two-night stand on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. This is being announced as “Van Halen’s first U.S. television performance with original lead singer David Lee Roth”.

The Kimmel appearance will coincide with the release of the band’s new live album featuring David Lee Roth called “Tokyo Dome Live in Concert” on Tuesday, March 31th. The plan is for Jimmy Kimmel Live to bring DLR and the Van Halen boys out on to Hollywood Boulevard for a two night concert series.

That is unless they break up during the monologue.
