Unmasked is Heading to Montreal for Two Shows!!

Ron Bennington is taking Unmasked Back on the Road and Heading North!  The critically acclaimed long format talk show is going to Montreal in July, and it’s just been announced that Bennington will host two Unmasked Shows during the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival- Just for Laughs Icon Andy Kindler, and comedy powerhouse Barry Katz.

In the one hour series, Bennington interviews the biggest names in comedy about their craft, and their creativity in front of a live audience. If you will be in Montreal, or can get there, you have two chances to see a live Unmasked taping.

First, on Friday July 29 at 4pm, Ron will sit down with legendary super agent and comedy producer Barry Katz. Barry is a power player in the comedy-verse.  He’s managed, developed and produced for some of the biggest names in comedy like Louis C.K., Dave Chappelle, Tracy Morgan, and Jay Mohr to name a few. He’s also been hosting the Industry Standard podcast since 2013, talking with other power hitters in the biz each week.

On Saturday July 30 at 3pm, Ron will spend an hour with Andy Kindler. Kindler’s been a Montreal Just for Laughs fixture for 20 years, skewering comedy’s sacred cows in his annual State of the Industry address. Every year Kindler tells the comedy community who sucks, who’s being too precious, who’s up, who’s down and more, all delivered with Kindler’s signature shtick. And it’s always a major event. Outside of JFL, Kindler is a comedy icon and one of the original comedy curmudgeons.
