TSA Tried Taking Chewie’s Cane

Star Wars actor Peter Mayhew, known to millions as Chewbacca, was recently stopped by TSA agents in Denver as they attempted to confiscate his rather large cane that’s shaped like a lightsaber. Mayhew tweeted a picture of himself seated in a wheelchair, since his 7’2″ frame can’t stand for too long these days, hence the cane.

Five minutes after the pics hit twitter, the agents allowed Mayhew to fly home with his cane to North Texas after someone suggested a new strategy: let the Wookiee win.
