Comedy Central will premiere Trevor Noah’s Hour Comedy Special “Lost in Translation” this month with limited commercial interruption. In his special, Noah talks about big events in the news in the past year, as well as his outlook on the world today. Topics covered include terrorism, racial tensions in America and what it was like being African and traveling into the United States during the Ebola crisis.

The hour was filmed at the Lincoln Theater in Washington D.C in July, months before Noah took over the big desk at The Daily Show in September.

Born in South Africa to a black South African mother and a white European father, Noah has hosted numerous television shows including two seasons of his own late night talk show, “Tonight with Trevor Noah.” He made his U.S. television debut in 2012 on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” and also appeared on “Late Show with David Letterman,” becoming the first South African stand-up comedian to appear on either late-night show. He recorded three comedy specials in South Africa.

Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation is Noah’s second American comedy special. His last special, Trevor Noah: African American debuted on Showtime in 2013, and Noah was the subject of David Paul Meyer’s award-winning documentary film “You Laugh But It’s True” which tells the story of his remarkable career in post-apartheid South Africa. He continues to tour all over the world and has performed in front of sold out crowds at the Hammersmith Apollo in London and the Sydney Opera House in Australia as well as many U.S. cities.

“Trevor Noah: Lost in Translation,” on Sunday, November 22 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The premiere will air with limited commercial interruption and an encore will immediately follow at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.
