Tracy Morgan Traumatized But Okay According to Chris Rock
Chris Rock’s new movie “Top Five” opens across the nation on Friday, December 12th. One of the co-stars of the film is Chris’ good friend Tracy Morgan who is still recovering from a brutal traffic accident that happened on June 7th when a Walmart tractor trailer slammed into his limousine.
Chris Rock talked to USA Today about seeing Tracy since the accident and how he’s doing. Chris said, “He’s OK. I saw him not too long ago,” says Rock. “He doesn’t live too far from me. I went by his house and showed him a copy of the movie. He was very happy. He’s got physical therapists. There’s a lot of rehab going on. He’s traumatized — his friend died. It’s Tracy — not the most stable guy in the world to begin with.”
The friend Chris is referring to was comedian James McNair, otherwise known as Jimmy Mac, who was killed in the accident. Other people were injured in the 6 car accident, including Tracy’s assistant Jeff Milea and comedian Ardie Fuqua who was severely hurt and is still hospitalized undergoing therapy for physical injuries as well as brain trauma. Lawyers for Tracy Morgan are suing Walmart on behalf on him and the other limo passengers.
