We’ve been waiting a long time to find out when Tracy Morgan’s ‘The Last O.G.’ will premiere on TBS and the news is finally in. The series will premiere on April 3rd, a Tuesday, at 10:30pm, according to the network.
We finally have some more info about the series and we can’t wait to get a look at it. We know Cedric the Entertainer runs the halfway house Tray moves into, we’re expecting big things from Derek Gaines who appears as a regular, Edi Patterson who we loved on Vice Principals told us she has a guest role, and Tiffany Haddish gets to add to her growing list of accolades playing Morgan’s ex girlfriend (and baby mom).
According to TBS, Morgan plays Tray, an ex-con who comes out of prison after a 15 year run to find the world a very different place. His ex-girlfriend had twins that he never even knew existed and has gotten married to a white guy. His old Brooklyn neighborhood has gentrified too. Now Tray wants to try to connect with his kids and figure out how to make a living in this strange new world.
TBS also announced they will renew Jokers Wild for a second season premiering in Spring 2018, and two new seasons of hit weekly talk show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.
