Tracy Morgan Condition More Responsive Day After Car Crash

tracy_morgan_2011_comedy_awards_jt_140607_16x9_992New updates have been released today regarding Tracy Morgan’s condition.  According to ABC News, Tracy Morgan’s rep Lewis Kay has said Tracy has become more responsive today.    Kay calls that an “incredibly encouraging sign”. This news comes a day after Tracy was involved a horrific  multiple car accident in New Jersey while on his way home from a show in Delware.

Tracy is exepcted to be in the hospital for several weeks. Kay said Tracy was suffering from several broken bones including a broken leg, broken femur, broken nose and several broken ribs. He underwent surgery on his leg earlier Sunday. The driver of the limo bus, Tyrone Gale, told ABC News that Tracy was riding in at the time of the crash said Tracy was conscious after the accident. He claims he heard Tracy calling for help, but was unable to get to him.

Comedian and friend James McNair known as Jimmy Mack was also riding in the Limo and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Tracy’s assistant Jeff Millea, and comedian Ardie Fuqua remain in critical condition.  The driver of the truck that caused the accident has been arrested and charged with homocide by auto and four counts of assault by auto.
